It’s not everyday you build a house – it was nice to have a good helping hand to help us make the right decisions. Because our house is right on the beachfront, the team had to jump a lot of hurdles through council and the coastal protection board – but it’s perfect where it is and it is suited to the block – it’s great! We had to change the design of our house around a fair bit to make it fit and the team went to every square millimetre to make it fit in the space that we had to use. They put a fair effort in to make it fit our site, that’s for sure. We would highly recommend Blue Lake Homes – it’s been a very simple, easy process and nothing’s been too hard – so we would recommend them for sure.

Right from the minute we walked through the doors of Blue Lake Homes for the very first time we were made to feel welcome, comfortable and that there was a genuine interest in building our home for us. Bronwyn listened to everything we were after in our home and we decided that day that they were the builders whom we wanted to build our forever home at the beach, and especially after having experienced disinterest from several other builders.
Throughout every process we felt well supported and Bronwyn, Mel and Hannah were always only a phone call or email away, sharing their expertise and ideas, especially when we were unsure of anything. Nothing, no matter how big or small, was too much trouble. Given this was our first experience building they made it such an easy process. All the tradespeople were easy to work with. Elliott and Jacinta should be extremely proud of the business they have and the people working for them.
On completion, from the minute we moved in it felt like home and all our expectations had been well met. Suggestions made by BLH have made it even more comfortable than our original plan.

We loved the Platinum range of homes, we were able to find a design that was what exactly what we wanted. We changed a few things around and the team made it really easy to do.
